ILLUSTRATION, ARTISTIC DIRECTION.
Wonderbra
For Black History Month, Wonderbra wanted to honor trailblazing women of color through a series of Instagram posts.
I was tasked with creating illustrations that embodied femininity, respect, and elegance, while being given the freedom to explore my own graphic style.

Illustration for Instagram post
These three illustrations, created for Black History Month, were a true creative exploration aimed at bringing graphic diversity to Wonderbra’s otherwise photographic and corporate Instagram aesthetic.
The goal was to capture the strength and resilience of women of color, who have advanced society through their lives and careers. By deliberately using the brand's colors instead of realistic skin tones, I sought to move beyond traditional figurative representation, offering a more abstract interpretation of diversity. The clean lines and slightly exaggerated proportions further emphasize the non-realistic approach, adding an artistic flair that celebrates the individuality and diversity of women without resorting to literal depiction.

Highlighting three trailblazing Women of Color.
In celebration of Black History Month, Wonderbra aimed to highlight three women of color who have made a significant impact on history.
Staying true to my minimalist graphic style, I opted for forms that lean closer to reality while maintaining a clean and simple aesthetic. My pop art influences are reflected in the bold choice of colors and lines, while the use of gradients and textures adds a trendy, modern touch, enhancing the contemporary feel of these iconic portrayals.
